About Us

Our beginning

Harmony in Inclusion Foundation started in 2018 by our wonderful founders who have over 35 years of combined experience in the child care field. Their passion for high quality child care directed the creation of their first non-profit out of school care location in 2023. The intention was a program that is driven to provide a safe, enriching environment for children during the critical hours before and after school. Our initiative aims to support working families by offering affordable, accessible care that fosters children's development. Driven by a holisitic, child-centred approach, the program provides a space where children can engage in various activities that promotes growth mentally , physically, and socially.  Additionally, the non-profit structure emphasizes community involvement and reinvestment of resources into the program, promoting long-term sustainability and positive impact on the community.

Outdoor Exploration

We prioritize outdoor exploration. Whether it is sunny, raining, or snowing, the children have the opportunity to examine the world around them. We believe it is pivitol to childrens physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

We believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, play, and grow together. Our programs are designed to promote social cohesion and foster meaningful connections between children of all abilities.

Child led programming

We utilize child led programming to engage our children in the topics and activities that they are interested. Our educators observe what the children are engaged in and plan quality based activities. This programming allows our educators to be flexible in planning and be able to adapt daily to changing interests.
